• Avoid Contact with Eyes: Take care to avoid direct contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
• Hygiene is Key: The cushion format is prone to bacterial growth if contaminated. Always use the applicator puff with clean hands. Do not share your cushion with others. It is recommended to clean the puff regularly with a mild soap and let it air dry completely.
• Skin Condition: If you have active, severe acne, eczema, or any broken skin, avoid applying foundation to those areas until the skin has healed.

HOW TO APPLY

For a flawless, creamy velvet finish, follow these steps: 

Step 1: Prep the Skin

• Start with a clean, moisturized face. A well-hydrated base will allow the foundation to glide on smoothly and prevent it from clinging to dry patches.
• Applying a primer suited to your skin type (e.g., pore-minimizing, hydrating) is recommended to enhance longevity and smoothness. 

Step 2: Load the Puff

• Open the compact and press the applicator puff firmly onto the cushion sponge. Gently press down several times to saturate the center of the puff evenly with the foundation. 

Step 3: Apply to the Face

• Start from the center of your face (where you typically need the most coverage) and blend outwards.
• Use a pressing and rolling motion (often called the "stamping" or "patting" method) rather than dragging or wiping. This presses the pigment into the skin for seamless, buildable coverage and a pore-blurring effect.
• Focus first on the cheeks, forehead, and chin, then move to the nose and perimeter of the face. 

Step 4: Build Coverage

• For a natural, light coverage, one layer may be sufficient.
• For more coverage on blemishes or redness, layer the product by pressing another thin layer onto the specific areas. The formula is buildable, so you can add coverage without it looking cakey. 

Step 5: Set the Foundation (Optional)

• While the finish is a velvety matte, if you have oily skin, you can set the T-zone with a translucent setting powder to ensure all-day wear.
• For a dewier look, you can skip powder or use a setting spray to melt the makeup into your skin. 

Step 6: Clean the Puff

• After use, if possible, wipe the puff on a clean tissue to remove excess foundation. Store it separately in the clean compartment of the compact.
