GOGO TALES Koi Play Lotus Loose Powder GT278

i'm not sure of the claims of this powder since i can't read chinese but i got #801 which has trace amounts of very fine shimmers in it for a soft glow. the powder itself is very soft and finely milled; it gives a very soft-focus blurring effect to the skin and also imparts a very beautiful, natural glow which is a look that i personally love a lot. i'm not sure if this is supposed to be an oil-controlling one but i will say that within 2 hours my natural oils were coming through(im super oily in my t-zone). i know a lot of chinese girlies like to powder with a puff rather than a brush cuz it mattifies the skin and sets the makeup better but whenever i do this i always look incredibly cakey so i opt for applying with a brush instead. it looks really natural using a brush and gives a pretty airbrushed soft glow effect to the skin. maybe it will work better at controlling oil with a puff but i just know there's no way it won't look cakey with my choice in foundations so i'm perfectly fine with it as it is using a brush. overall it works well but is nothing out the ordinary compared to some other powders i have. the packaging is super gorgeous though and this would absolutely make for a beautiful display piece on your vanity/makeup desk/counter :)
