Overall Product Concept
This is a silicone-based, mousse-textured blush. The formulas are built on a core of silicones (Dimethicone, Phenyl Trimethicone) and film-formers (Trimethylsiloxysilicate) , creating a lightweight, blendable, and long-wearing base. They are infused with a cocktail of natural oils and skincare agents, offering a hybrid makeup-skincare benefit.
❶ Texture
- Core Feeling: "Mousse" or "Airy Whipped Cream". The combination of volatile silicones (Isododecane) and non-volatile silicones (Dimethicone) creates a product that feels light upon application and spreads easily.
- Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer is a silicone elastomer that gives the product its bouncy, gel-like texture and a velvety, powdery after-feel, despite being a cream.
- Sensory Feel: Smooth, silky, and non-greasy. Lauroyl Lysine (a powder derivative) adds to the silky, soft-focus slip.
❷ Makeup Performance
The silicones ensure the product glides onto the skin seamlessly without tugging.
- Wear & Longevity: Trimethylsiloxysilicate is a film-forming agent that helps the color adhere to the skin and resist transfer and fading. Synthetic Wax and Rosin (present in all shades) contribute to the adherence and long-wearing structure of the product.
- Oil Control/Stability: Kaolin (clay) is present in every shade. While it helps carry pigment, it also helps absorb excess sebum, preventing the cream from sliding off oily skin. Barium Sulfate is often used to boost the opacity and stability of the pigments.
❸ Skincare Infusion
This is where the formula distinguishes itself from a standard drugstore blush. Most shades (CR764-CR767) contain a potent mix of active ingredients:
①Hydration & Nourishment: A blend of Jojoba Seed Oil, Quinoa Seed Oil, and Meadowfoam Seed Oil provides essential fatty acids, vitamins, and moisture, helping the blush sit well on the skin without drying out.
②Anti-Aging/Brightening: Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) is an antioxidant that protects the skin from environmental stressors. Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) is present in shades CR764, CR765, CR766, and CR767, offering benefits like improving skin barrier function, brightening, and reducing inflammation. (Note: CR763 lacks Niacinamide and Tocopheryl Acetate, making it purely a color cosmetic product compared to the others).
❹ Finish
The texture suggests a natural, skin-like finish. The elastomers (Crosspolymer) and oils prevent a flat, matte look, while the clays and powders prevent a greasy look.
- Pigment Load: The presence of Kaolin helps to mattify the oils slightly and carry a high concentration of pigment without feeling heavy.
- "Vitality" Effect: The finish is a "soft focus"/"blurred" effect due to the combination of powders and silicones, designed to look like a natural flush rather than a heavy layer of product on top of the skin.
