Pretty
Firstly, this review is extremely biased, mostly because the color combination of Ye Mei is literally my favorite color combination for my eyes right now. I literally own like four palettes with similar shades because I have a problem. I only purchased Ye Mei He Chang, which is the cooler toned version of this palette series. The eyeshadows are EXTREMELY pigmented - definitely use a light hand on the darkest shade because that sucker comes on strong. The eyeshadows are very smooth and aren't chalky. The only one that had a bit of fall out was the lightest shade. The lightest shade, despite being so pale, was decently pigmented in my opinion and I could build it up on my eyelids to the point where you could visibly see it. My skin is light/medium so light pink shades like that tend to literally just disappear on my skin. The glitter isn't my favorite - I don't like glitters in general though so this is personal preference - but the other matte shades when paired with a shimmer eyeshadow? CHEF'S KISS. Furthermore, the eyeshadows never get muddied or fade away during the day. I have hooded, oily eyelids, and even with primer sometimes shadows still disappear in my crease after a few hours, but not this palette! The palette is quite small for the price however I loved it so much I'm still giving it five stars.
